It is the
last chapel of the nave of the epistle and corresponds to the lower body of the
tower. This chapel belonged to Diego de Rueda and was titled Our Lady of La
Soledad. His employer, holder of the mayorazgo was Aldonaza de Contreras,
"without knowing who he is."
In the
visit of 1657 it is said that Diego de Rueda was a clergyman who founded a
pious work to help the poor belonging to the parish. In fact, in the parish
there was a brotherhood of shameful poor people from the city and the suburbs.
Currently
in this chapel, the CofradÃa de la Minerva keeps the Exhibitor of the Blessed
Sacrament and its banners.
